Star 99.7’s Geno Jones & Belinda Parker Honored at the
Charlotte Chapter of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame 

The National Black Radio Hall of Fame’s Charlotte, NC Chapter honored Geno Jones, along with Belinda Parker and other Carolina legends and icons of Black radio, on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, in Charlotte, NC.

The event was also a chance for the Charlotte Chapter’s Chairman, BJ Murphy and President Maragaret C. Jones to discuss plans to expand the Charlotte Chapter to encompass the entire Carolinas, North and South. The chapter’s goal is to recognize the iconic, legendary talent that has impacted Black Radio and Black culture in the Carolinas.
