Belinda Parker, affectionately known in Lowcountry radio as “BP”, is a true South Carolina native. Raised in Barnwell, her radio career has spanned over 20 years.

BP came to WMGL in Charleston in 2000 as a mid-day personality and Assistant Program Director. In 2002, she was also hired as Program Director for WXTC, taking a position as Program Director and Morning Show Host at WJNI three years later. Her brainchild, “Block Party with BP,” airs in Columbia, SC on WWDM and now on Charleston’s People’s Station, Star 99.7 (WXST)!

She is an energetic go-getter who likes to win and charge her audience to do the same, brightening the afternoons and evenings of audiences across the Lowcountry.
