“Stephen St. James” was born and raised in Philly home of the cheesesteak, but has family roots here in Edgefield, SC. Stephen began his career with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff who created the sound for the O’Jays, Eddie Levert and his son Gerald, Steven produced music and served as on-air talent.

He enjoyed his college days at Fisk University and Vanderbilt in Nashville while on the air with WVOL. Stephen’s passion outside of radio, radio and more radio is NFL Football (Fly Eagles Fly) and his 4 children.

Stephen St. James headed to Charleston, SC to become Program Director of powerhouse Urban AC Star 99.7 and 99.3 The Box in 2015. He handled PM drive for Cox Media Group Adult R&B WHJX (Hot 106.5) in Jacksonville, FL.  Prior to that he was Summit Media’s Operations Manager for a four-station cluster in Greenville, SC.
