Sassy, straightforward and sincerely honest are just a few terms used to describe the Assistant Program Director for Star 99.7 and Charleston’s very own Radio Diva, Sheila “Savannah” Johnson.

Since 2001, Savannah has been gracing the airwaves with a smooth, soulful sound. She can be heard on “The People’s Station” every weekday from 6-10 AM as the star of the local morning show Savannah & Friends, airing between The Steve Harvey Morning Show. She also brings soul and blues to your weekends on The Southern Soul Show, airing 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays, and The House of Blues from 7 PM to midnight on Sundays.

Savannah was recognized with a proclamation for her outstanding broadcast career and community outreach by the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2012. Represented by Coastal Talent Agency, Savannah is also an author and has made appearances in a variety of commercial ads and major motion pictures. She is a partner of the Maude Agency and a board member of The Gullah Geechie Angel Network committee.

Savannah has a take-charge, magnetic personality that has taken her career to many heights. She always says “Live your life to the fullest.”
