Do You Know a Student with Straight A’s & Perfect Attendance?
Submit their name and report card to have their hard work recognized!

For the past 10 years, Star 99.7’s mid-day host, Geno Jones has spotlighted students who’ve made straight A’s and had perfect attendance (or excused absences) on their report cards. Parents, guardians, students, friends and family are encouraged to nominate a student by emailing the following information to Geno at gjones@charlestonradiogroup.com:

  1. Student’s full name (first and last).
  2. Name of the school he or she attends.
  3. Grade they are/were in during the 2017-2018 school year.
  4. Tell us why the student should be spotlighted as an Academic All-Star.
  5. Attach a photo or scanned file (PDF, PNG or JPEG) of the student’s 2017-2018 report card showing straight A’s and perfect attendance or excused absence.

If your nominated student is selected, Geno will highlight him or her on-air and share their personal story, officially recognizing them as an Academic All-Star of the day! One winner will be chosen daily and awarded a prize pack. At the end of the semester, two grand prize winners will be selected to win a new laptop computer and additional prizes provided by sponsors at the end of the school year.

* All physical and/or cash prizes must be picked up on-site within 30 days of winning. After 30 days, winner forfeits claim to prize.
