What is a “Trump Account?” Steve Quirk, a Chief Brokerage Officer with Robinhood provided this answer – A Trump Account is a federally established, tax-advantaged investment account for U.S. children under 18, designed to give them a financial head start with a $1,000 government seed contribution. Quirk explained that any U.S. child under 18 with a valid Social Security number can open a Trump Account. Children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, are eligible for a one-time $1,000 government seed contribution.
