SEGMENT #1: Dominion Energy
GUEST: Paul Fischer, Spokesperson
ISSUE: Community Service
Each holiday season, the employees of Dominion Energy assist families in need through their Good Neighbor Fund. What most people don’t realize is that the Good Neighbor Fund isn’t just active during the holiday season, but rather all year long. Paul Fischer, a spokesperson for Dominion Energy South Carolina explained how employees not only fund the program, but also select the families that get assistance through the Good Neighbor Fund. Since Dominion Energy agents are visiting homes across the Palmetto State, they are able to personally see these needs. Fischer shared one of the Good Neighbor Fund project this holiday season, and well as providing information on things customers can do to save on their energy bill, plus the how those in need can receive assistance paying their bill.

ISSUE: Economic Development
Earlier this month, the South Carolina Arts Commission designated a four-block area of downtown Summerville a Cultural District.
