On Saturday, March 11, 2023, State Representative Wendell G. Gilliard awarded Star 99.7’s own Geno Jones a State Proclamation in recognition of his works on behalf of the Lowcountry community, saying “One of the best in his profession! Super radio personality Mr. Geno Jones was awarded recently with a State Resolution for his great works throughout the state!”
