With school closures in effect across the Lowcountry, some school districts are offering free meals to children 18 and under. Below, listed by school district, are links to schools and locations offering free breakfast, lunch or snacks:

  • Beaufort County: Drive-through meal pick-ups are available in the bus rider drop-offs at each locations listed at beaufortschools.net from 7:15 AM to 8:45 AM (breakfast) and 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM (lunch). Students must be present at the time of pick up.
  • Berkeley County: Berkeley County students can pick up a hot meal and a snack at 14 locations throughout the district Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 12 PM.
  • Charleston County: (and students from neighboring districts) are eligible to participate in the meal service offered at Charleston County locations. Meals will be distributed, Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM, by drive-through pick up.
  • Dorchester School District 2: will also provide grab-and-go meals at 6 school locations. Meals are available for pick up between 11 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday for any student aged 18 or younger.
