Run for a Reason – Tunnel to Towers 5K
Sunday, May 3 | 8:00 am | Park West Recreational Complex

If you enjoy running or walking to support a cause, the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk is the event for you. This event was made to honor the life of New York City firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, as well as honor many other first responders like him.

The Tunnel to Towers 5K takes place Sunday, May 3rd at the Park West Recreational Complex in Mount Pleasant. Runners are encouraged to sign up as either individuals or teams to participate, though for non-runners donations are welcome. Registered runners can pick up their packets on Saturday, May 2nd between 3-5 pm, or the day of the race at 7:15 am, both at the event location. Online registration prices will increase April 3rd, so don’t wait!

This run/walk is a great event for the entire family, with options for child, youth, adult, and military/first responder registration. Get ahead and reserve your place in the race today by clicking the link here.
