Another annual Lowcountry event returns this February; The Sweetgrass Half Marathon! This year, things are different, as the Town of Mount Pleasant is also offering a NEW 10K to coincide with the Half Marathon. Runners for both races will start and end at the Park West Recreation Complex in Mount Pleasant, traversing through the beautiful Carolina Park neighborhood and enjoying the sights of the marsh and ponds on a flat and fast course.

Registration for the Sweetgrass Half Marathon and the 10K is already open! Packet pickup will be at Blue Sky Endurance at Carolina Park the day before, and at Park West Recreation Complex on the morning of the race. Guests and participants are also encouraged to stay after the race for the Running of the Weenies at 10:30 AM, where dachshunds will race against each other!
