Register Your Dog Now for the 3rd Annual Running of the Weenies

It’s truly an event like no other – Dachshund racing!
Find out who is the fastest Dachshund in the Lowcountry, Saturday, February 24th at the Park West Recreation Complex. Crews Subaru, Tails Wagon Dog Treats and the Town of Mount Pleasant Recreation Department are sponsoring the 3rd Annual “Running of the Weenies,” hosted by 92.5 Kickin’ Country. The fastest four-legged friend in the race will win $350 and the admiration of dogs and dog lovers everywhere.
Apply to register your Dachshund beginning Monday, Jan. 29 here. There is a $35 application fee, and the 36 dogs will be accepted to race, along with 6 alternates.
The competitors will be confirmed in early February.
