The MOJA Arts Festival Returns with an Annual Celebration
of Visual Arts, Music, Dance, Poetry, Storytelling, Theater & More

Moja, a Swahili word meaning “One,” is the appropriate name for this festival celebration of harmony among all people in our community.
The 2024 MOJA Arts Festival returns Sept. 26 through Oct. 6. This year’s event includes:
- Jazz at the Dock Street Theater: Sept. 27 @ 7-10:30 PM
- Gospel at the Gaillard: Sept. 28 @ 7-10 PM
- Lalah Hathaway: The VANTABLACK Tour – Sept. 28 @ 8-10 PM
- Gangstagrass in Concert: Oct. 2 @ 8-10 PM
- Marlon Wayans: Wild Child Tour: Oct. 4 @ 7:30-9:30 PM

The MOJA Arts Festival is a multi-disciplinary festival produced annually and directed by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the MOJA Planning Committee, an all-volunteer community arts and cultural group.
