Join the Virtual 5k Between March 6-15 to Help Rescue, Rehab, Provide Sanctuary & Find Adoptive Homes for Horses
For ten years, H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue has rescued, rehabilitated, provided sanctuary, and found new adoptive homes for equines in need from across South Carolina. Here’s an opportunity for you to help this volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Berkeley County.
The second annual H.O.P.E. Lope 5k kicks-off on Saturday, March 6. This year, the 5k event will be completed virtual, instead of in person, but it makes this a super family-friendly “run” for members of all ages. Register for it here.
This year’s H.O.P.E. Lope 5k will begin with a Kick-Off Party March 6th from 3 – 6 PM at the Bohemian Bull, 1531 Folly Rd, James Island. Come celebrate the start of the event at the party, and then do the virtual race at your convenience between Saturday, March 6 and noon on Monday, March 15.
The goal of the 5K is to raise awareness of equines across South Carolina in need of rescue, and to support H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue’s mission to rehabilitate and provide a safe haven for unwanted, abused, and neglected horses. Visit their website to learn more about H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue.
