Cool to Be in School Supply Giveaway

The 2023-2024 school year is right around the corner, and students all over the Lowcountry are gearing up for their first day!

Since 2008, the North Charleston Police Department has given back to the community by providing students with all of the necessary supplies and gear needed to prepare them for another successful school year.

The 2023 “Cool to be in School” Supply Drive Fun Day, Saturday, Aug. 12 at North Charleston City Hall, is one you do not want to miss. Backpacks and supplies will be made available to elementary, middle, and high school students while supplies last. There will also be a barber on site providing fresh haircuts so students can start their year off in style!

Free food, jump castles, face painting, a DJ and much more will be on hand to close the summer out with a bang, and greet the school year ready to succeed!
